Golden Circle is the most popular tourist route in Iceland and includes the one and only Geysir that all the geysirs in the world are named after. Landmannalaugar is a paradise in the middle of the Icelandic highlands, you cannot leave Iceland without seeing the wonderful colours in the area and taking a bath in the natural warm river. Last but not least we visit Þórsmörk – the valley between 2 glaciers and at the roots of Eyjafjallajökull the famous volcano! We can book accommdations on the way or suggest some nice places to stay at.

Day 1 The Golden Circle route
We pick you up on the Arctic Trucks shuttle bus from your hotel or guesthouse in Reykjavík and in only a short drive we come to the Arctic Trucks headquarters. Here your vehicle will be waiting for you and we fill out the rental contract and our experts teach you the basics you need to learn before you enter the roads on a 4×4.
On this day you drive the Golden Cricle. It is the most popular tourist route in Iceland and includes sights like Þingvellir national park and UNESCO site, Geysir hot spring area- here we have the one and only Geysir that all the Geysir in the world are named after. In the end of the day we visit Gullfoss waterfall in the big glacier river Hvítá originating in Iceland´s second biggest glacier.
Day 2 Landmannalaugar highland paradise.
You start the day with some stopst at Þjórsárdalur valley; Hjálparfoss waterfall, Gjáin and Háifoss are some interesting sights on the way. Next you enter the gravel road that only 4×4 vehicles can drive. To get to Landmannalaugar you need to drive on rutted tracks and cross several rivers. In Landmannalaugar we recommend that you spend some hours, the hiking trails all around the area have stunning nature views and you should not leave without taking a bath in the warm river.
Day 3 Þórsmörk valley and a drive back to Reykjavík.
When you are back on the main road you drive further east and pass some small Icelandic farms on the way. Seljalandsfoss waterfall is the first stop and the brave ones can take the small path that goes behind the waterfall. Next we head to Þórsmörk the valley of Thor and make some interestings stops on the way Gígjökull outlet glacier, Stakkholtsgjá canyon with the hidden waterfall. Here you test the skills of the 4×4 car as you are driving a gravel road and need to cross several rivers on the way.

Insurances: All drivers need to sign a car rental contract before the trip starts. Self-risk is 3000 EUR. Please read all the details of the contract before starting the trip.

Terms of Payment
A deposit of 20% of the tour price is required at the confirmation of a booking if not agreed differently. We recommend at this time all passengers take out comprehensive travel insurance.
Full payment (less deposit) shall reach Arctic Trucks at least 4 weeks prior to arrival of guests. In case of further delay on payments, Arctic Trucks will reserve the right to treat this as a cancellation and withdraw its confirmation of the services.
For group bookings we requier full payment 6 weeks before arrival of the group.
10% of the price of your tour in non refundable.
If you cancel with more than seven days notice you will be refunded 90% of the trip price.
If you cancel with less than seven days before your departure you will be refunded 70% of the trip price.
If you cancel with less than two days notice (48 hours) no refund will be given.
Multi day trips:
10% of the price of your tour in non refundable.
If you cancel with more than four weeks notice you will be refunded 90% of the trip price.
If you cancel with less than four weeks in advance and you will be refunded 50% of the trip price.
If you cancel with less than seven days notice no refund will be given.
If you cancel a group booking on multi day tour- final name list needs to arrive 6 weeks before the trip starts. No refund after final name list has been received.
